Lorpen ® T3 Women Light Hiker Black (T3LW)

The lightly cushioned women's specific T3 Light Hiker is ideal when you're looking for comfort, warmth and moisture management on long tramps in any season. Made with Lorpen's unique warm weather T3 construction which combines a TENCEL® layer with a COOLMAX® layer to move perspiration away to the outside of the sock where it can evaporate quickly, leaving you cooler and more comfortable. A layer of nylon and Ea. Lycra® add durability and ensure the socks stay up all day long.

Technologies

T3 technology for warm weather socks: 3 layered with (from skin out) COOLMAX®, TENCEL® and Nylon for maximum perspiration management technology for warm environments.

  • T3 works with COOLMAX® moving the perspiration away from the skin and TENCEL® absorbing and spreading it on the outside of the socks for efficient evaporation
  • Reduces the chace of irritation during long and intense activities
  • Reduces the chance of getting "clammy" feet
  • Less chance for bacteria growth in the toe area

COOLMAX® fabric is the performance fabric that includes an effective fibre-based moisture management system. The system can move perspiration away from the body, and through the fabric, where it can evaporate quickly, allowing you to feel cooler and more comfortable

TENCEL® is a natural, man made fibre which is also referred to as lyocell. Made with wood pulp from sustainable tree farMen, TENCEL® fibres are created though the use of nanotechnology in an award-winning closed-loop process that recovers or decomposes all solvents and emissions. Certified by the international Forest Stewardship Council and 100% biodegradable.

Modal® is made of European beechwood and is completely natural. Modal® is C02 neutral and is produced at the Lenzing site in Austria. 50% more hydrophyllic (water-absorbent)than cotton and exceptionally soft against the skin.
